This peaceful valley was flooded in 1977 to create one of the most scenic reservoirs ever. Idyllic for walking, fishing, exploring nature trails and the pretty villages and escape from the pressures of life.
Guests may come and go as they please and if I am around there is always a complimentary tray of tea or coffee and homemade biscuits available.
Dinner is optional but needs to be ordered the night before. I use local produce wherever possible and all meals are freshly prepared and the homemade desserts are complimented with clotted cream. Tea, coffee and mints are served afterwards in the sitting room If guests have special diets please let me know in advance. Guests are welcome to bring wine or spirits to the table.
We have AA accreditation of: Dinner Exceeds Quality requirements Star/Diamond rating.
January 2008 Country Wide Films Productions made a film in the area called The Brendon Hills in January, Country Ways. We were one of the 5 local businesses featured on it. It was shown on ITV. The crew all stayed here while making it, which was great fun.
